This past week was a little more calmed down the week before, but there is always something to do at BCSM! I'm really proud of the students being responsible in meeting with me, trying to get their work done on time, and participating in after school academic work. :) Well done SEAD scholars!
I hope everyone enjoyed their three day weekend! The weather was wonderful. I know it was a great time to relax and catch up on much needed sleep. There was also plenty of time to do homework and prep for regents and finals!
This past week we celebrated two birthdays:
Happy Birthday, Ariela!!! AND Happy Birthday, Safi!!!
We will be eating donuts and cupcakes today to celebrate them (as well as KAT's birthday later this month!).
Unfortunately, due to scheduling, we were not able to have the SAT II prep sessions. However, for those taking the exam, make sure you come see me to get a copy of a practice exam to do at home. Another option is to stay after school one day to take the hour exam. I will grade it as soon as I see a completed exam.
Make sure students are still coming to see me regularly throughout the week. We have been having conversations about colleges lately and finishing out this marking period strongly!
Well done SEAD students! I'm so glad to see your impressive strides this spring. Just a reminder, my last day at BCSM is next Wednesday, June 3rd.

at SUNY ESC in Manhattan at 6:00pm. It will be an information session.
Friday, May 29th - NYU College Visit
at NYU in Greenwich Village Lower Manhattan immediately after school. We will finish by 4:30pm.
Monday, June 8th - SUNY Empire State College Visit
at SUNY ESC in Brooklyn at 6:00pm. It will be an information session.
